-The Antigonish Chapter is the founding Canadian Chapter of CUPS. Affiliated Chapters in parishes across Canada are encouraged.

-The primary focus and purpose of CUPS Canada is to defend and protect the sanctity and uniformity of the celebration of the Sacrifice of the Mass in accordance with the Liturgical norms which is the corner stone of the Catholic faith.

-However, CUPS may choose to vary slightly from its mandate if it sees other issues as a serious and direct threat to the teachings of Rome. Regardless, its founding purpose must never be lost.

-Any chapter which expands its focus without approval, or proceeds in defense of an issue which the founding chapter has ruled against, will be denied the use of the Catholics United to Peter Society (CUPS) name on any and all matters pertaining to the said issue.

-Approval of affiliated chapters will be based on their accepting and adoption of the Mission Statement and their pledge to defend the purpose of CUPS.

-There will be no admittance fee for CUPS members, however, a small annual chapter fee will be required to help cover costs which the founding chapter will acquire in its dealings with affiliated chapters. This remittance fee will be payable by March 31 of each year.
